“Creativity is maximized when you’re living in the moment,” from the lululemon manifesto.
We both agree that the best ideas come when you are living in the moment! We were out to lunch after an inspiring night with our mentors and were completely overwhelmed with ideas. If you don’t know, we live a paleo lifestyle, which basically means we eat like cavemen….mostly meat, veggies, nuts, seeds, and some fruit. But once a week we get a cheat day….this was that day! The food was a greasy mess and we were loving every second. In those seconds of joy our minds were racing with creative ways that we could help people get healthy! Hahahahahaha! So funny that we were eating fries talking about getting other people healthy…on the flip side, it gave us an insight on why some many are unhealthy. Jere got up and found a pen and started writing down all of our crazy ideas. No judging just generating ideas. When you’re brainstorming your only goal should be to come up with as many ideas as possible…not deciding if they are practical….that comes later. Napkin meetings are the best!
A napkin full of ideas is just the first step… ideas on a napkin are worthless unless we take action…now we have to move forward.
